Nutella No Bake Granola Bars
These bars are a little soft so be sure to freeze them as directed before trying to cut them into portions.
If you add the dark chocolate chunks, hemp and chia seeds you have a powerful little snack that will really charge you up! They make a perfect lunch box addition or mid day snack. If you prefer, you can make these into cookies by scooping them instead of spreading into the 9×13 pan. They would work really well in that shape too!
- 1/2 C Nutella
- 1/2 C Nut Butter (I used peanut butter)
- 1/4 C Maple Syrup
- 1/2 C Coconut Oil
- 2 1/2 C Gluten Free Rolled Oats
- 1/3 C Chocolate Chunks (optional)
- 1/4 C Hemp Seed (optional)
- 1/4 C Chia Seed (optional)
In a medium saucepan over low temp, mix the nutella, nut butter, maple syrup and oil. Heat until smooth. Pour over the oats and nuts. Mix until all oats have been coated. Spread into a lined 9×13 inch pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chunks over the top and press down with a sheet of parchment paper so the oats are pressed firmly into the pan.
Freeze 2 hours. Remove entire slab of granola from pan and cut into bars. I stored my leftover bars in the refrigerator.
